Dear readers,
Life was pretty normal I suppose and things did get a little bleak last couple of days. I wasn’t happy with what happen with my personal “matters” and had moments of self-demoralizing and felt like doing stupid things (getting drunk etc.). I remember watching a very good movie called “500 days of Summer” and I remember a scene about how the character, Tom Hansen was heading towards the girl’s place (Summer) as he was invited to her party. The viewpoint splits between to realms of Tom Hansen’s “Expectations” with “Reality” where he enters the party bringing tow different outcomes. Sometimes as a human being, I do feel like that when things don’t go as expected and reality becomes the biggest hurt and downfall to the human heart.
But days past and I thought about it. If there was a third view point towards Tom Hansen’s life, it should be “His Purpose”. So I ask myself, “Why are you mad?”, What are you unhappy with and why?”. If Tom Hansen had God’s Purpose, he would be mature to handle the outcomes towards his life and not trying to act maturely. At the end of the day, I realise I cannot be overcome by expectations that I create because it does destroy and eat every part of you; causing you to lose sight of God, His purpose, and the hope we cling onto. Instead, be ready and see what is God’s expectation in your life and take it a step at a time. So what if things didn’t go as plan; maybe because its not our time yet; Wait Worshipful.
