Text 17 Mar Greetings Readers!

So I’ve spent the last half hour writing a post and guess what? Stupidly it hang and when I had to force quit…. Geez…

So Anyways,

Welcome back readers,

Today I’m just gonna say that this isn’t a consistent blog but when I feel the need to write, I will…

If you are,

1) A food connoisseur?

2) In dire need of where to eat because you can’t decide?

3) very hungry

4) Lives in Malaysia

5) loves the every aspect and appreciation for food and cooking?

http://gluttonssquare.blogspot.com is the site to visit to cure your senses (for gastronomy/cravings for food), whether abroad or in town. Look up and find out what is good around town.

So what is different about this food blog compared with others you see online?

Does it really matter? Everyone has got their view on food. But from my experience, they know their food. It doesn’t hurt to have people who could actually recommend something.

To start of, the blog isn’t just here for the sake of filling your head with the thought of “gee… another food blog? How original….”

It is what it is, a helpful means for a lot of us young adults who are working/studying, longing for a good tucka (comfort food). But sometimes, we don’t have the means necessarily to eat out (especially expensive places) all the time. So yes, we say it. We can be broke. We don’t have the means to know which is worth our money to gain satisfactory to what we put in our mouths.

This blog is exactly what it is. Three young adults like you and me, on a quest to find what is good to eat and of value.

From the humble and memorable hawker shops that we adore, to modern culinary cuisine that is sophisticate, yet alluring and gratifying. This is a local, with a modern aspect of our thriving food tourism that our country  has to offer.

But hey, this isn’t the Food Network. Nor is it like some high-end food critique blog. Nay! It is a humble blog that is filled with not just the quest for food, but a life-experience shared by these young adults who from humble beginnings, have loads of memories to share within these places the seek. The blog celebrates life, it celebrates things we often overlook: Friends, families, memories, experiences, joy, extravagance, humility and sharing each others company that centres around the food we eat.

So, Conclusion?

It’s a blog about places to eat food. It’s a blog that shares life. It’s a blog that is simply filled with warmth. It’s just a blog for not those 3 Star Michelin Hat chefs or Food critiques alike. This blog is for people like us. People who can’t be bothered with decisions. People who are likely to stand for minutes or hours deciding a place to eat. People who simply don’t always have the means to have good food always. Ordinary people (with probably extraordinary appetites).

So whether you are from Malaysia or just visiting, check it out…

So in the words of our countrymen, who from a humble but thriving nation that centre itself with celebrations and simple life and can speak english in its most humble form, we say…

“Eh? Where to eat ah? Hungry leh….”
